Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Implement best practices for picking, packing, and shipping operations.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices to maintain a secure work environment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Facility Organization:
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
- Implement and maintain a system for easy access and retrieval of goods.
Vendor and Carrier Coordination:
- Collaborate with vendors and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Negotiate contracts and rates to optimize transportation costs.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Certification in warehouse management and logistics.
- Experience with warehouse management software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Experience in online fulfillment processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with CBM optimization techniques.
- Proficient in metrics and KPI analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
