Description:
The Vendor Manager will manage supplier relationships and handle both the strategic and operational aspects of the company’s interactions with its vendors. This role aims to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures.
- Conduct assessments to identify suitable vendors.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors.
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) that align with company needs and objectives.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Facilitate and troubleshoot issues related to vendors.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of vendor relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and audit invoices.
- Work closely with finance and legal departments to streamline vendor processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of procurement and vendor management practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
