Top Loader Operator

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate top loaders, reach stackers, and forklifts to load and unload containers and other cargo.
• Perform daily equipment checks to ensure the machinery is in good working condition.
• Safely and efficiently handle loading and unloading tasks to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with the terminal operations team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all loading and unloading activities.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in top loader or forklift truck operations.
• Valid driving license for operating heavy machinery.
• Good working knowledge of container vessel and terminal operations.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, including:
• Reach stacker operation
• Top loader stacker operation
• Forklift operation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
