Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:**
The company is seeking a Structural Design Engineer with expertise in designing, analyzing, and constructing steel structures, tank vessels, and related projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Design and analyze steel structural elements for buildings, tank vessels, warehouses, and industrial projects.
2. Develop detailed design calculations for steel structures and steel-to-concrete connections.
3. Review and verify shop drawings prepared in Tekla and AutoCAD.
4. Perform connection design using software like IDEA StatiCa, RAM, LIMCON, or custom Excel spreadsheets.
5. Conduct quantity take-offs for steel structures based on tender/IFC drawings.
6. Carry out site visits to assess structural conditions and address potential issues.
7. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient design solutions.
8. Ensure compliance with American and British Steel Design Codes and other relevant industry standards.

**Candidate Requirements:**

1. **Minimum Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
2. **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in structural design engineering, with a focus on steel structures and tank vessels.
