Description:
We are currently recruiting a Senior Steam Turbine Technician experienced in the Installation, Commissioning, Upgrading, Maintaining, Fault Finding and Breakdowns in Steam Turbine and auxiliary installations. This position involves carrying out work independently in Saudi Arabia and abroad Supervising work of additional personnel and subcontract labor. This employee will be involved with all levels of customer management and will therefore be expected to represent TESCO Engineering in a professional manner.
Responsibilities.
Senior Steam Turbine Technician must have work experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, fertilizer, Steel plant, Power Plants, Commissioning, Fault finding, Maintenance, Shutdown, and startup activities.
- Always adhere to and strictly follow company HSE Safety policies and permit to work (PTW) procedures.
- Provide professional advice ensuring the correct Assembly, repair and commissioning of machines and installations.
- Performs work independently, also installing, commissioning, repairing, and modifying machines and installations in accordance with regulations, verbal, and written instruction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control within the organization and client sites.
- Primary responsibility includes the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly of API611 & API612 steam turbines, T&T valves, and all associated turbine auxiliaries.
- Removal, overall and reinstallation of steam turbines and all associated turbine auxiliaries on site. Including final alignment of drive trains.
- To ensure all safety rules and regulations are adhered to on site and in workshop.
- Review of shop router, review and understanding manufacturing drawings,
- Compile comprehensive as found and final assembly and inspection reports denoting recommended repairs.
- Review bill of materials and compile an inventory spare parts report.
- Review repair process and implement repairs.
- Promotes the sale of spare parts and additional services when asked or on own initiative during site activities.
- Collaborate with various disciplines, including maintenance technicians, engineers, and line managers.
