Duties and Responsibilities
- Conversant with the concept of Systems Integration and Master Systems Integration.
- Build customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor.
- Understand customer business and technical challenges and design complete solutions to meet customer business/technical objectives.
- Ability to consult with clients to understand their requirements and independently advise relevant technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, with emphasis on architects & key IT stakeholders.
- Develop solutions encompassing multiple technologies (Systems Data Center).
- Development of proposals, technical presentations, and Bill-of-Materials (BoM) and accurate Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
- Work closely with the Sales team to provide full presales assistance in support of the achievement of sales targets while adhering to cost of sales objectives.
- Assist the Sales team with completing RFP / proposal documents.
- Ensure timely response to solution requests.
- Estimation of professional services (PS) requirements into a Scope of Work (SOW).
- Provide Pre-Sales technical support to sales teams and ultimately customers.
- Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team when appropriate.
- Participate in “relationship retention” CRM activities.
Key Requirements :
- 6+ years of experience as a systems Pre-Sales engineer
- 1-2 years of Experience as an implementation Engineer is Preferred - Proven experience of baseline solutions (VDI – Virtualization – Storage Systems – Backup HW & SW – Hyper-Converged Infrastructure - Cloud)
- Experience supporting Network & Security solutions would be a plus.
