Description:
In this pivotal role, SDM is seeking a Software Engineer who will play a key leadership role, guiding a team of developers to build innovative software solutions that leverage the power of AI. The primary focus will be on a revolutionary hospital information system (HIS) that utilizes AI to provide diagnoses for specific diseases. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from design and architecture to implementation and deployment.
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software applications using Django (backend) , and Flutter (frontend)
- Deploy applications using containerization technologies such as: Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate AI models into applications
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time and within budget
- Preferred: Possess knowledge of medical data transportation protocols (HL7) and HIPAA compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of Django, Flutter, Docker, Kubernetes, knowledge of React Native, and ReactJS is a plus
- Experience with designing and building scalable software systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
