Responsibilities:
1. Planning/Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive sales plans with targeted objectives by product and industry.
- Commit to achieving sales targets set by management.
- Obtain registrations and approvals as an approved supplier from target clients in the region.
- Secure approvals from key sectors including Oil & Gas, Power, Railways, Road and Transport, Ports, Defence, EPC, OEM & Municipal Fire Department.
- Maintain a database of approved vendors and cultivate customer relationships.
- Recommend new products based on customer feedback and industry trends.
- Arrange seminars with end-users, consultants, and EPCs.
- Source new project leads, gather market intelligence, and participate in tendering and bidding processes.
- Prepare technical presentations to showcase company products and services.
2. Sales Generation:
- Utilize product quality and unique selling points to minimize competition.
- Identify and prioritize tenders for further action, coordinating with management.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and sales proposals.
- Create and adhere to a weekly/monthly sales visit plan.
- Convert leads into orders through effective client follow-up.
- Achieve annual sales targets, with a minimum target of USD 1.0 Million in the first year.
- Collaborate with contractors and consultants for approvals and specifications.
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure timely order execution.
- Ensure timely collection of payments within credit periods, minimizing bad debts.
3. Customer Relationships:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers.
- Conduct regular meetings with major customers to understand their future needs.
- Demonstrate product range to customers by arranging visits to Principal's Manufacturing Facility.
4. Monitoring:
- Maintain records of tenders and provide Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Submit weekly sales visit reports and reports on enquiry statuses.
- Track progress on various registrations and sales targets versus actuals.
- Conduct win-loss analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
- Advanced knowledge of fire systems, products, and international codes such as NFPA, UL, EN standards.
- Understanding of value-selling against low-price competition.
- Stay updated on market conditions and trends relevant to ERITH's products.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English language; Arabic proficiency preferred.
