Description:
Major Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage road engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, and construction.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the execution of road projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Technical Expertise
- Provide advanced engineering design and analysis for road infrastructure, including geometric design, drainage systems, and pavement design.
- Utilize advanced software and tools for design and simulation (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with clients, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and address concerns.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and technical details.
Project Management
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that projects adhere to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, performance, and any issues encountered.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure that all engineering practices comply with local and state regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and master’s degree in Transportation/Highway engineering with 15 years of relevant experience.
