Summary

The Senior Project Manager - Bow and Facad is responsible for managing, coordinating, and driving the contract formation, supplier selection, contractor mobilization and work completion of iconic and architecturally significant buildings, tourist and residential facilities, outdoor exhibition centers and other indoor and outdoor recreational related scope. Bechtel is the Project Management Consultant managing the contractors performing the work. The role will span from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, occupancy, and contract close-out.

Essential Job Duties
 

• Manages the team that has the responsibility for construction oversight and compliance of contractors, ensuring works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes.
• Oversee performance of the general contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems.
• Lead and coordinate with contractors, engineers, client, and other stakeholders involved in substructure and superstructure works.
• Leads input to ensure continuous construction work fronts availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals.
• Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations.
• Responsible for a multi-functional team who will be reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, schedule acceptance, technical queries, Field change documents and other submittal documents including Drawings and As-Builts.
• Ensure all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with international standard and technical specification requirements.
• Ensure the closure of project is systematic and complete in all respects.
• Maintains an effective relationship with client, stakeholders and other functional departments and coordinates all jobsite contractual activities.
• Coordinates and monitors interfaces with other contractors, lead the review meetings.
• Ensure the Temporary Works processes and procedures are followed and correctly implemented for all contract clusters, monitors and reports on overall project compliance with these requirements
