Senior Procurement Specialist

 

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.

- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.

- Manage and oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery.

- Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.

- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.

- Monitor market trends and stay updated on industry best practices.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.

- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and standards.
