Description:
yada Holding is hiring a Senior Estimation Engineer who will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects. This role is critical in ensuring the competitive and successful bidding of our projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and compile data necessary for the estimation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and services across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.
- Implement best practices in estimation processes and continuously update cost databases and estimation software.
- Prepare and present estimation reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Participate in bid preparation and submission, including the development of technical proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction estimation, with a proven track record in one or more of the specified engineering disciplines.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
