Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company will provide executive project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,50 km2 (10,200 sq. mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.” NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. Job Summary

In this role on precast yard, you will manage a team and provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge. Your oversight will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.

Major Responsibilities

As EPM the Senior construction manager will work close with the contractors to ensure production and delivery match all requirements of the project.

Leadership/Supervision

Proactively engages with their teams’ development through CPM, competency development/assessment and feedback.

Material Management

Revise PO from the contractors to ensure materials/equipment’s are on time to not impact schedules.

Quantities

Manly responsible to confirming quantities from the contractors on production/delivery.

Safety / Quality Control

Ensure zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Reviews and approves inspection test plans when required.

Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals, RAMS, JHA, etc.

Summary Of Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Manager will be assigned to the field construction organization in the precast yard. Responsible for overseeing all appointed Contractor’s job site activities and ensure that the construction operations and contractor’s performance are in compliance with project ES&H, Quality, schedule requirements and within budget.

Education And Experience Requirements
 

• A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/Structural or any discipline in Engineering
• Minimum 25 years of progressive experience in construction industry
   

Required Knowledge And Skills
 

• Coordinates all Bechtel EPM jobsite activities at precast yard.
• Responsible for construction oversight and compliance of Contractors, ensuring all construction works are carried out as per the IFC drawings and specifications and standards, as per schedule and within budget.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the ES&H plan and procedures including Site Security Plan, Traffic & Logistics Plan, Emergency Response Plan and ensures strict adherence to local and national regulatory safety codes.
• Ensures the field organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the project safety programs and ensure that joint safety inspections are carried out regularly.
• Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations.
