Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer located in Mecca. The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design, structural analysis, structural engineering, and project management, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Additionally, the Senior Civil Structural Engineer will provide technical supervision to other engineers and designers, prepare construction documents, and participate in construction site visits.

Qualifications

o Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university

o Min. 17 yrs. Experience in large-scale projects, including having overall responsibility for civil/structural engineering on large-scale projects.

o Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computers in the discipline.

o Knowledge of structural engineering work planning and control methods.

o Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and principles and practices of related disciplines.

o Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.

o Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes, standards, and design and/or layout criteria pertinent to the discipline.

o Skilled in verbal and written communication.

o Knowledge of engineering procedures, design guides, and automated and administrative practices.

o Demonstrated leadership skills.

• o Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) tools on a project.
