Senior Business Analyst

Experience Required: 6 years in banking domain preferably in Retail Banking with process excellence knowledge and six sigma

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst with a robust background in the banking domain and it’s good to have knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of organizational excellence models and standards and demonstrate a proven track record of driving quality improvement and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Banking Domain Expertise:

- Analyze and evaluate banking processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

- Develop detailed business cases, process maps, and functional specifications to support banking initiatives.

2. Six Sigma and Quality Improvement:

- Lead Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing waste and improving efficiency within the organization.

- Utilize Six Sigma tools and techniques to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.

- Conduct process improvement workshops and training sessions for team members.

- Monitor project progress and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.

3. Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and alignment.

- Communicate project status, milestones, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.

- Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the banking domain.

- Good knowledge of experience in Six Sigma and organizational improvement projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA).
