Description:
Broad Function:
- To manage, monitor and react to the performance in sales, marketing of a Product in coordination with the Sales Management and Trade Marketing, of one or various brands.
- Tailor category and channel strategies and initiatives to Product requirements.
- To optimize effectiveness of consumer/ shopper activity at trade channels.
- To actively participate in and support the customer development process.
- To ensure achieving Superior in store presence for our Brands at the Point of Purchase (POP).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible to ensure that category volume / value is achieved within the assigned budget and planned objectives.
- Set the budget in volume and values for all the brand categories in the market.
- Ensure a complete, clear and up to date reflection of the Brand Name. Identity Business Objectives, Consumer Goals, Budgets, and Timelines.
- Ensure the optimum development and implementation of the annual promotional plans in coordination with the Sales Departments.
- Review and assess all previous and current Consumer Activities
- Develop the trade Plan which should be part of the annual brand plan.
- Conduct Brainstorming Sessions to agree on type of Consumer Activity to be used and ideas for execution in coordination with the Trade Marketing and Sales Managers.
- Managing P&L
- Conduct constant market visits and surveys to assess the brand and categories status and the competition positioning and visibility.
- Evaluate the performance of Marketing Activities based on set criteria.
- Monitor and Analyze Activities of Competitive brands (including packaging designs, merchandising strategies, new product launches, promotional activities, pricing strategies, etc.), and provide insights into their motives, and impact on the category.
