Sales Representative

 

Description:

A Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and growing market share of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods. Their role involves building client relationships, reaching sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.

As a Sales Representative, you will promote and sell our products to retail stores, supermarkets, e-commerce, and other distribution channels. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring our products are well-represented in the market.

Maintain a track record of healthy and sustainable sales, grow market share, and work with other departments for the common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sales Development:

- Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.

- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

- Work on Bottom-up forecasting.

- Ability to work on an activity calendar with excellent execution.

- Ability to work on promotions and liquidation.

· Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

- Conduct regular visits to clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.

- Provide product training and support to clients as needed.

· Product Promotion:

- Present and demonstrate products to clients, highlighting features and benefits.

- Create promotional materials and presentations tailored to the target audience.

- Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the management team.

· Sales Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.

- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

· Collaboration:

- Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and effective promotions.

- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events as required.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector (2-3 years of experience)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Skills:

- Good negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

- This position may require frequent travel to client locations.
