Responsibilities
- Organize and lead the sales department, ensuring efficient operations and effective team management.
- Develop sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives, taking into account market conditions and growth opportunities.
- Monitor and control the sales budget to optimize resource utilization and maximize sales outcomes.
- Oversee the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet or exceed the annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess route coverage, monitor competitor activity, and identify potential sales opportunities for increased market share.
- Provide customers with information about new or improved products and services, aiming to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network, ensuring the wide availability of the company's products and services.
- Enforce sales administration procedures, including order processing, documentation, and reporting, to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate and follow up with the storehouse supervisor to maintain adequate inventory stock, ensuring timely sales deliveries and exemplary customer service.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure sufficient marketing support, including merchandising and promotional activities, to drive sales.
- Monitor customer returns and work to minimize costs associated with E&D (expired and damaged) and NTE (non-trade expenditure) returns.
- Oversee cash and credit collections by channel, ensuring timely payments and efficient credit management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
- 5+ years of sales experience in Fast-moving consumer goods FMCGs
