Safety Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Safety Engineer at Gulf Chemical & Industrial Oils Co. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing occupational health support.
• Preparing testing reports for fire protection equipment, which must be completed in adherence to the specified schedule.
• Rigorous auditing of the Permit to Work system is necessary to ensure strict compliance with safety procedures.
• developing and delivering training programs, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

· Qualifications in NEBOSH or SEC certification.

· Experience in implementing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments

· Occupational Health and Security skills

· Training and development skills

· Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
