Ro Specialist

Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related field with a focus on water treatment.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in SWRO Desalination Plants in the fields of RO plants design, process, commissioning, and performance testing etc.
• In-depth knowledge of RO plant design, process, commissioning & plant optimization, , including membrane selection, pretreatment processes, and post-treatment processes,
• Familiarity with water quality parameters.
• Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting RO plants, including conducting performance tests, analyzing data, and optimizing plant performance.
• Proficiency in using software tools for process simulation, data analysis, and project management.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ANSI/AWWA, ASTM, and EPA guidelines
• Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.

• Responsibilities:

• Developing/Reviewing commissioning & plant optimization plans and testing, commissioning & performance test procedures that ensure the safe and efficient operation of RO plants.
• Conducting pre-commissioning activities such as equipment inspection, testing, and calibration, and verifying that all equipment and systems are installed and functioning properly.
• Conducting commissioning tests, such as membrane integrity tests, pressure tests, and chemical cleaning, and analyzing data to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Optimizing plant performance by adjusting operating parameters, such as flow rates, pressures, and chemical dosages, and implementing process improvements
• Providing technical support to operations and maintenance teams, including training on plant operation and maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and developing standard operating procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, such as OSHA and EPA guidelines, and maintaining accurate records of all commissioning activities
• Participating in project meetings and providing updates to management on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Familiar with SWCC PPM and the related TOD procedures.
