About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Ensure a high level of customer engagement by training staff in excellent customer service practices and resolving customer issues or complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order stock as needed, and oversee inventory control processes to minimize shrinkage.
  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with visual merchandisers to create appealing product displays that attract customers and promote sales.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Employee Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement loss prevention strategies and security measures to protect merchandise and prevent theft.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to ensure timely product availability and competitive pricing.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the store's budget, including expenses, payroll, and operational costs.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional events and marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in retail sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required.
