Restaurant Manager

 

Description:

As a Restaurant Manager specializing in Lebanese cuisine, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing the staff, maintaining high standards of food quality, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership will be key to upholding the reputation of our restaurant and driving its success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in line with Lebanese culinary traditions.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to achieve financial targets.

 

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including chefs, servers, and support staff.

Schedule and coordinate shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Foster a positive team environment and address any staff issues promptly and effectively.

 

Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues swiftly.

Interact with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.

Promote a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hospitality and warmth of Lebanese culture.

 

Menu Development:

Collaborate with the head chef to develop and update the menu, incorporating traditional and innovative Lebanese dishes.

Stay informed about food trends and customer preferences to ensure the menu remains relevant and appealing.

 

Marketing and Promotion:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Organize events and promotions to increase restaurant visibility and drive sales.

Manage social media accounts and engage with the online community to promote the restaurant.

 

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Handle cash management and financial reporting accurately and securely.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably with a focus on Lebanese cuisine.

In-depth knowledge of Lebanese culinary traditions and food preparation techniques.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

A passion for Lebanese culture and cuisine is highly desirable.
