- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Research skills to find trending and interesting stories in the Arab region
- Flexibility to travel when necessary
- Good knowledge of covering events and obtaining exclusive content in them
- Familiarity with the culture and interests of the Saudi audience and society
Responsibilities
- Research on related topics, trends, news, events, and stories
- Create various content types (videos, reports, articles, and posts) with the relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides.
- Produce content for programs and social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, X, Youtube, snapchat, and Tiktok.
- Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics.
- Cover local artistic, social, and national events through entertaining and visually rich program and social media reports
- Appear via live coverages on television programs and social media platforms and deliver accurate information and messages
- Build a network by interacting with industry professionals and influencers in the community
- Apply editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Collect, verify, and thoroughly analyze newsworthy information.
- Assemble findings into a coherent story.
- Write and deliver news stories with the reader's perspective in mind.
- Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips.
- Cover events and obtain exclusive reports.
- Shoot stories and photos according to the guidelines.
- Abide by journalism's ethics and codes.
- Contact, interview, and research sources.
- Maintain notes and audio recordings.
- Cooperate with reporters, chief editor, producers, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest current events in the "beat" by studying papers, attending events, etc.
- Camera Shooting and Editing on premier, canva, photoshop, or similar softwares is a plus
