Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reliability Analysis: Conduct reliability analysis and assessments to identify potential failure modes and their impacts. Use reliability modeling tools and techniques to predict system performance and reliability.
  • Failure Analysis: Investigate and analyze system failures and performance issues. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans to ensure system reliability and performance. This includes predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and reliability metrics. Use data analysis and statistical methods to track trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that reliability requirements are integrated into the product development lifecycle. Provide reliability input during the design phase.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to reliability analyses, maintenance plans, failure investigations, and performance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system reliability and performance. Implement best practices and lessons learned from past experiences.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering role or related field. Experience in Facility Maintenance is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in reliability modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Weibull analysis, Reliability Block Diagram, FMEA, fault tree analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience with reliability software tools and databases.
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies and methodologies (e.g., TPM, RCM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: The Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional Certification (CMRP) is Mandatory. The Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is a plus.
