Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote automation solutions (SCADA, PLC, DCS) in target industries.
- Identify new market segments and customer needs, aligning them with the company’s portfolio.
- Create detailed sales plans that include short-term and long-term growth targets.
- Actively prospect new clients by leveraging industry connections, attending trade shows, and using other lead generation techniques.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through CRM tools, regularly updating with client communications, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, particularly in the engineering, operations, and procurement departments.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored automation solutions that integrate SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.
- Product and Technical Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and DCS technologies and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the industry.
- Provide customers with technical support during the pre-sales process, including system demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concept.
- Liaise with the technical and engineering teams to ensure that the solutions offered meet client requirements.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing:
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Lead sales discussions from the initial contact through to final negotiation and closure, achieving sales quotas and revenue goals.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Coordinate with the engineering, product management, and support teams to align sales activities with product offerings.
- Communicate customer feedback and market demands to internal stakeholders to drive product improvements.
- Work with marketing to develop materials, case studies, and presentations tailored for different industries and solutions.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market dynamics.
- Use data analytics to drive sales insights and improve overall performance in the automation sector.
- Training and Development:
- Continuously improve product and sales knowledge through ongoing training and certification in automation technologies.
