Qaqc Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QAQC Manager to oversee the quality assurance and quality control functions for the construction of staff accommodation in a remote location in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in QAQC roles within Project Management Consultancy environments. Candidates must be based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama (single status)

 

Responsibilities of QAQC Manager:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the project’s QAQC plan, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that construction activities meet the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QAQC documentation, including inspection and test plans, checklists, and reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff on QAQC procedures and best practices.
  • Review and approve material and equipment submittals for compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the QAQC system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Ensure that all QAQC activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
