Our client a leading EPC player with experience and track record of executing world class infrastructure projects in the areas of Water Desalination, Marine water, Power transmission and distribution and renewable energy.

For their growing business in Water treatment and Desalination sector they are currently looking for mid to senior professionals with subject matter expertise and experience in handling large scale projects to steer these projects from conception to completion.

Ideally 15 plus years of experience in project planning & controls, Quality control & Assurance, areas of expertise in handling EPCC Marine works - Sea Water Intake & Outfall including offshore Micro-tunneling, dredging, intake tower & outfall diffusers erection, construction of onshore sea water pumping station and other water retaining structures, construction of temporary shafts for tunnel launches, temporary jetty or other facilities, implementation of ESIA related to Marine will be ideal for this role.

The incumbent will oversee the respective functions while working with the Project Director and working with him on the overall project progress, ensuring it aligns with our strategic objectives, budget, and timelines. The ideal candidates will be a natural leaders and a strategic thinkers capable of making decisions in their respective functions that drive project success with a impeccable track record of handling client relations at all phases.

Responsibilities

• The team will direct and manage quality control/ proect costing/planning, domains project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, water or environment or a related field.
• Minimum 15-25 years experience in project management within the industry and professionals can be considered for various roles depending on the work experience.
• Strong familiarity with project management software.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
