About the job

The highly skilled and experienced Managing Editor will work closely with the Special Edition leadership team and a valued client on a content creation project. The candidate will be in charge of overseeing the entire content production process, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with the client's objectives. This dynamic role requires exceptional editorial skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of content strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a managing editor or similar role in content creation.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English. Additional language (Arabic and/or French) would be a plus
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and SEO best practices.
• Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

The Managing Editor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our content creation project and achieving Special Edition’s client's objectives. A proven track record/experience is a MUST for the position. Good knowledge of the Saudi Arabian, UAE, and the GCC market is a requirement.
