Job Specification
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with the design and project management teams for architectural and interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure strict compliance with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia, offering expert guidance on permitting, zoning, and other legal requirements.
- Subcontractor Management: Supervise subcontractors and tradespeople, ensuring they meet project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations. Establish relationships with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and high-quality materials and services, while negotiating for the best possible terms and prices.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and prepare reports on construction progress, quality, and any deviations from the plan.
- Bilingual Communication: Effectively communicate in both English and Arabic, facilitating smooth communication between international teams and local stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional international teams, including designers, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective project coordination and successful outcomes.
- Scope and Budget Management: Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and continually monitor and adjust them as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project life cycle and conduct regular quality inspections to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Documentation: Develop and update a comprehensive project plan, including milestones, resource allocation, and potential contingencies. Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, status updates, and project deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, government authorities, and other project stakeholders. Regularly update clients with concise, informative reports highlighting project status, upcoming milestones, and any potential challenges, ensuring they remain engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Development: Continually develop leadership skills, and attend conferences and training as required to develop proficiency.
- Feedback Integration: Regularly gather feedback from team members and stakeholders, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and effectively to guarantee project fluidity.
- Resource Allocation and Management: Effectively oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, ensuring optimal use of manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project timelines and budget constraints.
3.0 Additional Requirements
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or interior architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or design industry.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent Client-facing, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
