Project Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the National Water Company (NWC) house connection projects, specifically ESAL projects, in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing and executing similar projects, ensuring compliance with NWC standards, timely delivery, and quality control. This role requires extensive experience in planning, managing resources, coordinating with stakeholders, and leading teams in the field of water infrastructure, specifically for residential connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of ESAL house connection projects in line with NWC guidelines and standards.

• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

• Coordinate with NWC representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and clear communication.

• Ensure compliance with local and international safety and quality standards.

• Prepare and manage project documentation, including project reports, schedules, and budgets.

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet project milestones.

• Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to address project challenges and ensure project continuity.

• Lead and supervise on-site project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to project objectives.

• Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to maintain high standards and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Support and ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations across all project phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in managing water infrastructure projects, particularly NWC ESAL house connection projects.

• Approved by the National Water Company (NWC) as a qualified project manager for water connection projects.

• In-depth understanding of water connection systems, piping, and infrastructure for residential networks.

• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to handle complex and large-scale projects.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic project demands.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction and environmental regulations is an advantage.

• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
