Description:
Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for the coordination of project Architectural Design tasks and Landscape Architecture associated with development of the NEOM Mountain region – Discover cluster. This role is responsible for coordinating the scope and integration of work assigned to subcontracted design entities.
Major Responsibilities
- Conduct, plan, schedule and coordinate initial and detailed phases of the Architectural Designs
- Conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of layout techniques, procedures, and criteria for Architectural designs of buildings, facilities, and structures
- Prepare conceptual design studies, reports, proposals, value engineering studies or alternate technical concepts
- Review Architectural Design and Landscape deliverables associated with the Project
- Prepare contractual documents such as Scope of Work and Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline, engineering disciplines and other design entities
- Coordinate design development with construction, estimating, project controls, procurement, and contracts management teams
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to make presentations, define project layout requirements, and obtain
Education And Experience Requirements
A recognized Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university with a minimum experience of 15 years.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Professional Architects Registration, US, or ARB with RIBA, or other internationally recognized equivalent is required
- Understanding of Open Museum, tower, observatory related Architectural work. Significant and proven experience working as an architect in planning for at least 10 years. Relevant experience in the KSA and MENA region and familiarity with the cultural norms of the region
- Knowledge of architectural layout design, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods
- Experienced with the professional practices, applicable building codes, as well as International Building Codes and Standards
- Experience in customer-facing roles, presenting to customers and working with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- Experience in Architectural work planning, scheduling, and cost estimating. Leads formal and informal 3D model reviews. Manages design workflows and monitors discipline productivity
- Experienced with integrating sustainability rating requirements into the design and construction to achieve green building certification for projects. LEED Accredited Professional or equivalent
- Familiar with discipline-specific Autodesk Design suite (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in the use and application of relevant business software, GIS programs, Photoshop, and 3D sketch up
