Project Control Scheduler

 

Description:

The Project Control Scheduler is responsible for planning, tracking, and coordinating schedules for real estate development projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves working closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project timelines, monitor progress, and identify potential delays. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in scheduling software and a background in real estate or construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules for multiple real estate projects, from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure all milestones and deadlines are clearly defined.
  • Monitor and update project timelines to reflect actual progress and report on any deviations.
  • Conduct critical path analysis to identify potential schedule risks and propose solutions to prevent delays.
  • Prepare regular schedule reports and present updates to management, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
  • Ensure project schedules comply with company standards and best practices in project control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project scheduling, ideally within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
