Major Responsibilities
 

  • Supervising cost, schedule, and risk management functions, ensuring adherence to procedures and best practices.
  • Overseeing contracts and procurement management.
  • Managing the preparation and updates of EPM procedures and staffing plans.
  • Leading Prime Contract and Change Management activities, providing guidance to the program personnel.
  • Offering administrative and technical direction to project controls management and interfacing with various teams.
  • Delivering timely analysis and reporting to the Program Director, along with managing senior management reporting to customers and the Bechtel Global Business Unit (GBU).
  • Assisting and presenting to customer as needed.
  • Ensuring efficient execution of projects through innovative solutions and effective communication.
     

Education And Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (MBA preferred) and 25 years of overall experience within a project controls and commercial background, with 15 years in the EPC industry and 10 years in supervisory roles. GCC experience and PMC background are advantageous. They should be flexible with work hours, able to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Required Knowledge And Skills
 

  • Expertise in project control, contracts, prime contract, procurement, and risk management tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Primavera scheduling.
  • Solid understanding of contract formation and procurement activities.
