The Responsibility :
- The job holder is responsible to perform engineering and maintenance support activities within MRO/Production departments, acting as a liason between the CAMO and the MCC Managers. He has to assure proper embodiment of new technical requirements (such as Airworthiness Directive), technical support to the maintenance and material department and the generation and management of technical records
- Review applicable airworthiness directives, service bulletins, vendor service bulletins, ALS requirements and other applicable documents to the extent necessary for proper application on the PSS C-295 fleet;
- Support the review of aircraft maintenance program revisions for new and revised maintenance tasks and enter the required changes in the maintenance program control file for each aircraft;
- Support the control of the expiry of the scheduled maintenance tasks, including airworthiness directives, hard time components and life limited parts;
- Monitor and control of deferred defects.
- Prepare work documentation (engineering orders, job cards) to be used for the accomplishment of the maintenance requirements.
- Issue on time work orders for maintenance works. Evaluate the manpower required in each;
- Define and request parts, materials and GSEs for maintenance works within agreed timing;
- Follow completion of maintenance works per the issued work documentation and provide technical support as necessary.
- Provide technical support to the maintenance and material department related to the maintenance requirements for the aircraft, installed components, removed defective components and stored components;
- Assure the technical status of the aircraft is updated after accomplishment of works;
- Assure the maintenance documentation affected with the modification embodiment is updated by the originator as necessary.
- Assure necessary modifications / retrofits are performed also on spare components as applicable.
- Provide technical support to the maintenance department for trouble shooting and damage assessment by direct involvement in the works and by issuance and follow-up of enquires for support by the aircraft manufacturer or vendor;
- Control the aircraft dent and buckle / structural repair charts.
- Generate maintenance records and proper completion.
- Assure functionality of the used airworthiness management / maintenance management software within the scope of his activities.
Requirements And Qualifications
- University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- At least five years of work experience in transport aircraft
