Procurement Supervisor

 

Description:

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and consistent supply.

- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or discrepancies.

-Procurement Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and market trends.

- Analyze market conditions and pricing trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and adjust procurement plans accordingly.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.

- Monitor and analyze procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.

- Review and approve purchase orders and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgetary constraints.

Inventory Control:

- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.

- Coordinate with internal teams to manage inventory turnover and reduce waste.

- Implement inventory management best practices and maintain accurate records.

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.

- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance and key metrics to senior management.

- Supervise and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPP, CPM) is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of F&B supply chain dynamics, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
