Procurement Engineer

 

Description:

Bachelor of Degree in Engineering / Administration or Equivalent

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the GCC market preferably Saudi Arabia.

Proven experience in handling entire procurement processes for Aramco projects.

Familiarity with Aramco approved suppliers and manufacturer.

Strong negotiation skills.

Excellent communication abilities.

A professional procurement certification is preferred

Responsibilities:

Review and study purchase requisitions.

Approach potential and approved suppliers.

Follow up to obtain quotations within the required time frame.

Coordinate technical clarifications with Engineering, QC and other stakeholders.

Effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure the best price within budget.

Ensure delivery times align with project schedules.

Follow up with suppliers for post PO documentation and manufacturing schedules.

Act as the focal point between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Resolve any quality issues during material inspections.

Maintain and update the procurement status of assigned projects in real time.

Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment from suppliers.

Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
