Procurement Engineer

Description:

Education & Qualifications:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the GCC market preferably KSA.

- Proven experience in handling entire procurement processes.

- Familiarity with Structural suppliers / manufacturers and Service providers.

- Strong negotiation skills.

- Excellent communication abilities.

- A professional procurement certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Review and study purchase requisitions.

- Approach potential and approved suppliers.

- Follow up to obtain quotations within the required time frame.

- Coordinate technical clarifications with Engineering and other stakeholders.

- Effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure the best price within budget.

- Ensure delivery times align with project schedules.

- Follow up with suppliers for post PO documentation and deliveries.

- Act as the focal point between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

- Resolve any quality issues during material inspections.

- Maintain and update the procurement status of assigned projects in real time.

- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment from suppliers.

- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
