Pre-sales Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Low current & Security Systems Presales Engineer works in conjunction with the Sales and Capture Team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Requests for Pricing (RFP’s) and Requests for Information (RFI’s) responses.

• Provide technical sales support and application design of Low Current & Security Systems, services & solutions and support sales representatives in the field or meeting, also assistance in the resolution of customer issues.

• Follow up with vendor and manufacturer on requested quotes and designs.

• Design and prepare bill of quantities and compile pricing proposal for comprehensive Low Current & Security Systems and provide expert level technical design.

• Develop drawings for proposals and delivery.

• Preparing Technical submittals for projects designed and support if required in team members technical submittals.

• Site surveys for projects if attendance is required

• Ensure complete customer satisfaction which should result from proficient design and honest commitment.

Qualification and Skills

• Degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics/Telecoms Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 5 years of experience specific to the job responsibilities

• 3 years estimating technical projects with proven track record of successful and profitable project completion for medium to large size companies.

• Experience in Converged Technologies such as AV, CCTV, Access Control/Security with working knowledge in those systems in KSA, preferably with the well-known names in the industry.

• Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under minimum supervision.

• Excellent verbal & written communications skills, presentation skills & interpersonal skills.

• Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project,

• Having CCNA and Odoo training is preferable but not a must.

• Management reports on time.
