We provide a wide range of electrical energy services to various market segments and clients. We are looking for a Pre-Sales Bid Engineer who will focus on pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and support to the sales team, and working on bids and tenders related to Automation and Control Systems. This includes solution design, pre-qualification of product lines, and securing project approvals.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Prepare offers, design solutions, and pre-qualify Automation and Control Systems
- Promote the brand and get it specified for specific projects.
- Support and educate customers on product lines, assisting with technical queries.
- Ensure product line approval and pre-qualifications are completed to secure project deals.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service teams to align solutions with customer business needs.
- Achieve assigned sales growth targets within designated product lines, market areas, and sales channels.
- Provide coaching and professional development to sales team members to improve product knowledge, technical expertise and sales skills.
- Seek additional business development opportunities within customer firms, coordinating with technical and sales teams to capture these opportunities.
- Monitor customer support for proposed technical solutions during the sales process, identifying risks that could impact deal closure.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
- 2 years of Associate’s Degree, Trade, or Technical School may be considered depending on the level of experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in KNX, low voltage security, home automation, and control systems or 5 years of experience in electrical building materials and related product lines.
Languages:
- Strong proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
Technical Knowledge:
- Expertise in Low Voltage Equipment for Security Systems (Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Public Address, etc.).
- Familiarity with complex control systems, security systems, lighting control systems, KNX (European Installation Bus), or any related home/building automation systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and AUTOCAD.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication skills, especially in Arabic and English.
- Technical sales and marketing acumen.
- Presentable and able to engage confidently with customers.
Salary and Compensation:
- Competitive salary (excluding bonuses and commissions).
- Bonuses and commissions are performance-based, depending on customer handling and project acquisition success
