Postdoctoral Researcher

Description:

1. Follow lab safety rules and guidelines

2. Oversee and guide biotesting processes of drug products to ensure product safety, efficacy, and

compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Perform routine laboratory procedures including cell culturing & transfection, DNA/RNA extraction,

and Sanger sequencing/whole genome sequencing along with measuring DNA/RNA integrity,

encapsulation efficiency, and gene efficacy.

4. Perform in vivo animal studies.

5. Work in teams to perform advanced characterization of materials using fluorescence/ confocal

microscopy, in vivo imaging, and complementary techniques.

6. Develop new procedures/methods to meet customers’ needs.

7. Record thorough and detailed observation logs at every stage of experimentation

8. Conduct literature review and assist in writing research/review papers or proposal

9. Maintain equipment and inventory and ensure overall laboratory cleanliness

10. Communicate with fellow researchers to accomplish goals

11. Keep logs of developed standard operational procedures, protocols, and controls.

12. Develop and mentor less-experienced team members

13. Link the technical aspect of the developed products with the business aspect and benchmarking of

competitive materials.

14. Represent the company at client and/or external meetings.

Essential

• Ph.D. degree in biology, genomics, or a
• related field.
• Superior written and oral
• communication skills
• Maintain a strong commitment to the

• Demonstrated track record of
• conducting research in support of
• technology development and
• deployment, and investigating
• challenges to current health problems.

• towards sound technical solutions.
• Ability to work flexible and/or long hours
• Ability to set corporate R&D strategies and

• establishing new business partnerships.
• Experience in complex project management,
• including milestone tracking, project finance
• and contracts development, as well as
• technology licensing and commercialization.
• 5 years of Laboratory experience.
