We are looking for a highly skilled Planning Manager!
To join our on-site team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delay analysis, stakeholder negotiation, and resolving project challenges effectively. This role requires a results-driven professional who thrives under pressure and can confidently navigate high-stakes client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Perform delay analysis to identify critical path impacts and provide detailed claims documentation when necessary.
- Proactively identify risks, delays, and opportunities, presenting practical mitigation strategies to project stakeholders.
- Lead and manage negotiations with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts and contractual disputes.
- Represent the company in high-pressure client meetings, effectively communicating project progress, risks, and solutions.
- Prepare and present progress reports, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and other performance metrics.
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to align project objectives and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with contractual timelines, scope, and deliverables while managing resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and integrating lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in project planning, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong expertise in delay analysis techniques, forensic scheduling, and claims preparation.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in client-facing meetings and challenging discussions.
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, including Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Certification in PMP, PSP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects.
