Description:
This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, in-depth industry expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project planning for construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, managing all stages of the project life cycle.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and milestones.
- Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and cost control throughout the project phases.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of planners, ensuring best practices in project control.
- Monitor project progress, report to senior management, and recommend adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
