About the Project:
The project involves the construction of non-metallic underground piping systems within the oil & gas sector. These advanced materials are designed to provide enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and reduced maintenance costs. The successful execution of this project is critical to improving operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Identify critical paths and potential delays, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Manage correspondence related to project progress, changes, and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Contractual Management:
- Understand and interpret contractual terms and conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project reviews and audits.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech).
- Experience: Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in oil & gas construction projects, specifically in UG piping.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Primavera P6 and other project management software. Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and execution methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
