Planning Engineer

Description:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines, considering client requirements, resource availability, and regulatory compliance, utilizing Primavera P6.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of planning engineers, ensuring clear communication and coordination with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency using Primavera P6.
• Project Monitoring: Continuously monitor project progress, identifying potential delays or issues and proposing mitigation strategies, utilizing Primavera P6.
• Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the cost control team to estimate project costs and create detailed budgets, integrated with Primavera P6.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in project planning and develop strategies to mitigate them, with the support of Primavera P6.
• Reporting: Generate regular progress reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and project status, with data from Primavera P6.
• Schedule Optimization: Implement strategies for improving project timelines, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency with the help of Primavera P6.
• Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly, supported by Primavera P6.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all planning activities align with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards, with assistance from Primavera P6.

Requirements:

• 7 to 15 years of experience in construction planning or related roles, with proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with industry-standard planning and scheduling methodologies.
