Pega Developer

Description:

We are looking for a full-time Pega developer to work on key projects focused on Digital Banking.

§ Design, develop and support applications built on Pega Platforms in an agile environment.

§ Work with project management team to develop overall scope and work plan for implementing requirements.

§ Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.

§ Make recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in software, software development methodologies, lifecycle management, modeling, and simulation.

§ Collaborate with analysts in documenting and capturing software requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories, process models and use cases in an agile development environment.

§ Perform end to end solution building for banking product journeys using Pega Platform

§ Provide day-to-day technical support while prioritizing and resolving technical issues affecting and deliverables, escalating technical issues when required. Facilitates project handoffs including preparing documentation, educating, and supporting to ensure smooth transitions

§ Evaluate existing APIs for fitting purpose to an existing project or solution.

§ Discipline within the financial and banking sector.

§ PEGA Certification PCSA, PCSSA, or PCLSA.

§ Strong understanding of Pega Implementation Methodology

§ Expertise with API’s and designing enterprise wide systems to meet the needs of the business

§ Experience developing and Integration with SOAP, JMS, or Restful services leveraging one or more of the following: ESQL, Java, JavaScript, Spring, Groovy, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, GIT and YAML.

§ Experience in web design and development using HTML and Java is required.

§ Experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS

§ Experience with PowerShell and Unix shell scripting and Continuous Delivery / Continuous Deployment.
