Pastry Assistant

 

Description:

Assist the Head Pastry Chef in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads.

Measure and mix ingredients according to established recipes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

Help with the decoration and presentation of pastries and desserts.

Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.

Participate in the development of new recipes and menu items.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.

Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.

Passion for pastry arts and a willingness to learn.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
