Oss Engineer

Description:

📄 Alongside the rest of the team, we expect the candidate to assume the following responsibilities:

• Level 2 support for ITSM and Monitoring Tools solutions

• Design and implementation of solutions

• Planning and leading the execution of projects as an engineer

• Documenting solutions, training, and supporting implementation

• Testing solutions and designs in the laboratory, validating solutions

💻 Being part of the SATEC Technology group for the integration of ITSM and Monitoring Tools solutions into projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical degree, preferably a higher university degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications

• At least 3 years of experience as an Engineer in the following areas:

• Implementation of Alarm Monitoring solutions

• Implementation of Performance Management solutions

• Implementation and administration of commercial ITSM and ESM (Enterprise Service Management) solutions

• High proficiency in English for client interactions

Desired Requirements:

Additionally, any of the following qualities will be valued:

• Positive consideration will be given to experience in the implementation and/or administration of solutions based on the Opentext/Microfocus tool: OBM, NOM, Sitescope, OPTIC, SMAX or knowledge on HP Service Manager and HP monitoring applications (OpenView)

• Knowledge and experience in implementing processes based on ITIL and/or eTOM methodologies

• Knowledge and experience with other ITSM and Monitoring Tools (monitoring, performance, ticketing, etc.)

• Knowledge with integrations with other solutions or systems (e.g., inventory systems, Data Lake, Rest API)

• Knowledge with implementation of CMDB and asset management

• ITIL certifications

• Deployment of applications in cloud environments: AWS, Azure, etc.

• Knowledge of databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL

• Operating systems: Windows, Linux

• Experience in designing and developing integrations with APIs
