Operations Superintendent

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of mining and crushing processes, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Lead the implementation and integration of new technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Manage and optimize operational processes, balancing technical, operational, and financial requirements.
• Conduct advanced analysis and modelling of engineering components, systems, and processes.
• Perform risk management and analysis, identifying and mitigating all potential risks.
• Conceptualize and design engineering components and systems to improve operational performance.
• Independently plan and deliver work according to set targets, demonstrating high self-management.
• Stay updated with technical trends and industry knowledge, applying this expertise to improve mining operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in a specific discipline with at least 6 years of engineering experience.
• OR Masters of Engineering in a specific discipline with at least 18 months of engineering experience.

Experience:

• 20+ years of experience in the mining operations industry as an engineer/lead, superintendent, or mine operations manager.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in the analysis and modelling of engineering components, systems, and processes.
• Strong capability in operational improvement optimization, considering technical, operational, and financial aspects.
• Competence in performing risk management and analysis.
• Ability to conceptualize and design engineering components and systems.
• Proven ability to independently manage work planning and delivery to meet targets.
• Deep understanding of technical trends and the ability to interpret and apply industry knowledge.

Working Conditions:

• Remote location at Al Baitha Bauxite Mine, KSA.
• Requires working in challenging and remote environments.
