Description:
As an operations manager you will be responsible for operations at all Chaps & Co outlets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the daily management of the operational aspects of the company, managing the operational staff and ensuring seamless delivery of service, acting as the main point of communication between the managing partner and operational employees. You will implement the directives of the managing partner and ensure the company employees are aligned with the company vision and mission.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Ensure company culture is dissipated throughout the operational staff
- Oversee the management of supervisors across all outlets
- Schedule shifts for all operational staff
- Purchase all materials and plan inventory
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor barber performance
- Coordinate with HR and PRO departments to ensure all required tasks are delivered on time
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Observe ways to increase the quality of our customer experience
EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
- Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
- Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them. Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
- Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
