Operations Manager

Description:

We are hiring “Operations Manager- Heavy Trucks” for One of the top-heavy trucking companies in Saudi Arabia providing a modern, high safety cargo services for diverse needs, including petroleum products, refrigerated goods, heavy loads, and flatbed transport.

Job responsibilities:

1.Manage company's fleet including cost, vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostics), driver management, fuel management, health and safety management, transportation operations management.

2.Responsible for all fleet vehicles (assets) and its operations in terms of: Readiness and road worthiness for implementing different types of load transport (special fittings, load securement tools and equipment, etc.)

3.Manages and controls all drivers' affairs including recruitment, performance and appraisals in coordination with relevant departments

4.Manages and controls all operations at loading and off-loading sites through the operations team Overlooks customer complaints that result from service implementation

5.Assures compliance to the approved governing standards as certified to the company.

6.Manages vehicles assignment and operations for best utilization of assets

7.Participates with other departments in calculating forecasted client accounts and costing patterns upon proposals preparation and reflects such input upon setting petty cash assignment Co-manages the fleet requirements of spare parts

8.Manage fleet Tracking team, Sourcing and operations teams.

9.Assures proper on-road tracking and guidance / control of drivers.

10.Plans and manages fleet operations budgets and tracks and reports on budget utilization.

11.Manages the operations of the fleet management information system and assures timely update of data input, processing and reporting.

12.Monitor P&L reports and report it to CEO

Job requirements:

1.Minimum 12 years in the transportation specially in heavy trucks and/or commercial vehicles management business, with minimum 3 years at senior management level.

2.Comprehensive knowledge of the logistics business with all its components Focused experience in operations, and technical understanding of management of heavy trucks fleets

3.Proven track record in managing teams and operations

4.Experience in various heavy trucking (refrigerators, Flatbeds, oil & Gas shipping, construction etc.)

5.Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance

6.High operational skills and leadership skills with flexibility to handle various span of personalities

7.Very Good command of English language
